Project title: Thermal response to cold tolerance, fecundity, longevity and flying ability of false codling moth Thaumatotibia leucotreta (Lepidoptera: Tortricidae).

Project aims: Do determine the effect of thermal history on the efficacy of false codling moth in a sterile release program. The aim of this study was therefore to investigate the effect of larval acclimation and short adult temperature treatments on the low temperature activity thresholds, fecundity and longevity of moths. The results are discussed in the context of the specie’s population dynamics and pest management.
