I am investigating the dispersal potential and landscape connectivity of important fruit fly (Tephritidae) species in South Africa and Mozambique, with the focus on Ceratitis rosa and Ceratitis quilicii. In addition, the project also aims to develop morphological identification tools for larvae of the most important Tephritidae in South Africa.

Title of dissertation: Dispersal potential and landscape connectivity of important Tephritidae species in southern Africa for the identification of management units and pest free areas.
